The TFS Phase I Unit is located at Karolinska Trial Alliance (KTA) at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. The unit is a unique resource for Phase I trials as it combines the strengths of both academia and health care industry. TFS maintains a staff presence in the unit at all times. To further ensure that our quality standards are maintained, all Phase I work is conducted in strict accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes continuous training of the investigational staff.

The Phase I unit is fully equipped with:

• Computerised database of compliant,
  healthy volunteers and patients
• Security and surveillance equipment to ensure study subjects safety
• State of the art ECG equipment
• Modern examination rooms and lab facilities
• Computerised network for retrieving rapid lab results
• -80°C freezer with continues monitoring and refrigerated centrifuges
• Secured facilities for study medication
  storage and accountability
• On-site food preparation and dietary consultation
• Dayroom with entertainment for the subjects
• Dedicated area for sponsor / monitoring visits
• Proven record for quality data and surpassing sponsor enrolment goals
