Phase IV Trials - Post Marketing

Late phase studies are a source of important information. The close monitoring of long-term efficiency, safety, prescription routines and treatment strategies has high scientific value and provides answers to medical questions previously unknown or unproven. The regulations for late phase studies are the same as for pivotal and registration studies, however, the approach is different and, often, quite innovative.
