Seppo Varmavuo

Managing Director, TFS Finland and the Baltic region

Seppo Varmavuo started his career in 1990 as an Intensive Care Nurse and then, in 1993, he joined the Critical Care Research Program, an academic research group focused on intensive care. In 1998, he moved to the CRO industry by joining Quintiles Transnational as a CRA and thereafter, he worked as a project team leader. In 2002, Seppo moved to TFS and established the Finnish operations, making the company one of the largest regional CROs in Finland and the Baltic region. Seppo is responsible for all the operational activities in Finland and the Baltic region. He has a degree in nursing.
