Mariska van der Heijden

Mariska van der Heijden has been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 1998. Before joining TFS Trial Form Support she worked in the Netherlands as Lead CRA at Centocor (Johnson & Johnson), Manager Outsourcing in the CRO business and started her career at the Academic Hospital in Leiden (Leiden University Medical Center - LUMC), where she was involved in the assessment of neurodegenerative diseases and coordinating trials at the “memory clinic”. Mariska joined TFS in March 2003 and was responsible for building and leading international project delivery teams for pivotal registration studies across Europe and USA. As International Project Manager she has performed global phase II and III clinical trials in more than 20 countries and within different therapeutic areas such as; oncology, paediatrics, urology, gastroenterology, neurology, psychiatry, rheumatology, cardiovascular and dermatology. Mariska was in September 2008 appointed Director Business Support Europe, responsible for managing and supervising all business support functions, personnel and activities within marketing and sales operations in Europe. Mariska holds a Master in Neuropsychology from the University of Amsterdam and is fluent in English, Spanish, French and German. Mariska is an active member of the Drug Information Association (DIA).
