Birgitte Telmer joined TFS as our Country Manager in April 2000 where she helped set up Trial Form Support ApS. After completion of her studies, obtaining a degree as a Doctor of Medicine, Birgitte worked as a resident physician for 4 years at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital). She worked within the fields of Nephrology and Orthopaedic surgery. Birgitte began her career in the pharmaceutical industry in December 1992 joining Pharmacia A/S in Denmark. She did however continue to work as a substitute physician at the Casualty Ward of Rigshospitalet. Birgitte served under the Medical Department at Pharmacia A/S working with clinical trials within the therapeutic areas of endocrinology, CNS and Ophthalmology. Between 1998-2000, she was the Safety Officer at Pharmacia and was responsible for Medical Advisor issues within the same therapeutic areas as mentioned above.
