Montse Barcelo

Executive Vice President Europe

Dr. Montse Barcelo is a qualified physician graduating from the University of Barcelona in Spain. She also holds a degree in Business Administration, a Master in Pharmaceutical Industry Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Mini MBA for Pharmaceutical Industry.

Montse’s career in the pharmaceutical industry started in 1994, as founder and Managing Director for CDC in Spain. This company initially offered services in biostatistics for new drugs. Montse developed CDC into the leading “full service” CRO in Spain, with offices both in Barcelona and Madrid. She has been working at TFS since 2005 as Regional Managing Director Southern Europe and was appointed as Executive Vice President Europe in September 2011.

Montse has been actively involved in the Spanish Pharmaceutical Medicine Association being a member of its Board of directors. She is also a member of the Drug Information Association (DIA).
