Mark Newall

Managing Director, TFS UK

Mark Newall started his clinical development career in 1996. Since then he has held a number of positions related to drug development in both the pharmaceutical sector and contract research organisations, most recently being employed by AstraZeneca in the UK. In February 2008 Mark joined TFS and took up the position of Managing Director for the UK. Mark's clinical experience has been built up across all development phases and a broad range of different therapeutic areas. Mark has also extensively been working in several closely related areas to drug development, such as supportive IT solutions, portfolio management and licensing and business development. He is a member of the Institute of Clinical Research and the Institute of Biology. Mark graduated in Zoology from the University of Hull and gained both a Masters in Biotechnology from Lancashire Polytechnic and a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
